The First round of Testing for state will be given online this year at AJ High School in Mr. Sanders Room.  This will take place Monday March 9th After School.  This will effect most FBLA students going to state.  All must attend.

Any student who will taking any part of the PARCC test should report to the auditorium during homeroom on Wednesday. Any student who is taking any section of English III or Algebra II will be taking the test and should report to the auditorium to get information about the procedures used for testing.

There will be a meeting for all boys basketball players on Wednesday March 4th in the gym during home room.

6th and 7th hour study halls Wednesday will meet in the auditorium.

Information pertaining to the 2016 Miss Illinois Teen USA Pageant, as well as the information sheet for applying to the Miss Illinois Teen USA Pageant is available in the guidance office.

The Art Club would like to challenge all groups and organizations to a spring clean. Yesterday we cleaned all of the doors in the school. What can your group clean? pick an area and get cleaning.

Today the junior class will be taking the ACT in the math hallway classroom's. Testing should run from 8:08 until approximately 12:30. Juniors will be dismissed for the day when all testing is complete. Bring 2 Sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator.

The sophomore class will be taking the ASSET in the auditorium. This testing will begin at 8:08. All sophomore's will return to 4th hour. Bring 2 sharpened #2 pencil's. Only advanced math students should bring calculators.

A reminder for ALL students and teachers, the bells will not ring tomorrow during testing so use the classroom clocks to begin and dismiss class.

The math hallway will be off limits except for those students testing and the teachers administering the tests. If you have a locker in that hallway, you will be allowed to carry a backpack for the day, so get all of your books and materials for 1st-4th hours IMMEDIATELY  in the morning.

Math classes as well as Mrs. Kersten's and Mrs. Hutchings classes have alternate meeting places. Remember where you are to meet.

Some students, who are in predominately junior classes or have teachers who will be testing, have been sent to study hall. Again, be where you are supposed to be on both days and bring something to work on.

The library is a test site as well and it is important that the upstairs hallways are quiet during class time as well as during passing periods.

The National Honor Society will be hosting a spring fling dance Saturday, March 7th at 7:30. Tickets will go on sale next week. If you need a permission slip to bring an outside guest, please see Ms. Garner.

SENIORS!!! there are several local scholarships available. Stop by the guidance office for an application.

There will be a presentation on March 5th during home room for all sophomores and Juniors concerning the CEO program for next year. All home room teachers of sophomores and juniors should escort your student to the auditorium on this day.

There will be track this week Today, Thurs and Friday.

Boys basketball players will turn in equipment Friday after school on the stage.

Boys basketball will be having their end of the year banquet in Monday March 9th at 6:30 in the cafeteria.
